For solving UVA problems, I would use C++. Usually I use Java

I used to use plain C, but because of the STL library I've switched to C++.

C++ rocks with the STL!! With java it's pretty easy to get a compilation error, and C++ has an advantage over C so...

I used to use Free Pascal. Now i use java because it is convenient, especially when you deal with big numbers.
