Hey, i'm currently looking for ways to get a video input stream from a usb webcam and communicate with the parallel ports on a labtop using java. If anyone has any information or suggestsions i would greatly appriciate your adivce.

I'm no java guru or anything but java isn't good for hardware programming so if it is possible at all it will be very difficult.
