UVa not found on weekends

Does the site shut down during weekends for maintainance? It seems that the web site is shut down during weekends quite frequently and back up after 1 day.

What i have noticed is it frequently gets down after a arranging a contest.

My question is do they intentionally shut it down or do they face problems.

A router the judge relies on had a
power problem.

Problems seem more frequent on weekends
because the time taken to solve them
is longer (if the system goes down on
a weekend, it maybe isn't noticed
until monday)
