counting the galaxy stars

i need a c++ program which can detect/count a fixed number of stars in the galaxy.......if u dont have the program plz just giveme some ideas of making such a program......

plz plz help me out..........as i need this program urgently.........

You probably need a huge and expensive telescope to start with :)

I've no idea what kind of C++ program you want, and what exactly you're trying to achieve with it, so I can't help you.

I am looking for a program which can detect stars.........see......firstly i need to load an image......then using arrays i have to display all the pixels of that image..........i need to compare the RGB value of all the pixels......if RGB value of an image is less than 50......then its not a star....else it is a star.......then i need to sum up the total number of stars detected in the image.........Its actually realed to computer vision........but i need to use any language to do this........



i hope sum1 can help me......my finals r starting from may.....n i need 2 submitt this assignment b4 that.......

If this is your assignment then shouldn't you try to solve this on your own?
