Do you know what happens on these days? Yesterday it took me about half an hour to load a single page on acm uva, today at least the last 50 submissions, and probably much more are in the judge queue.

It can be the most popular programming site. But my guess, that not so longer, if there are such annoying items. And there is no information for the users on acm uva.

I also agree with you Robert Gerbicz. Sometimes it creates difficulty in accessing the site.
Today I submitted 3 problem and they are in judge queue for more then 3 hours!!!
So it's easy to understand how many submissions are waiting in judge queue.

Now a days sometimes this site is also unavailable. It says "This site is temporarily unavailable.
Please notify the System Administrator" But this shouldn't be going on!!!

While we are working on the judge, we have to turn the judge down for critical operations.

About the submissions on the queue.....no idea what happens. I'd say it as usual: one of the machine stalls (don't forget we still use the PIII 800MHz), the submissions keep accumulating, the machine can't go with everything....nothing to do about it (for the moment). Just to pray it won't happen again. And to pray it will be solved whenevr the new machine arrives.

I submitted a solution over 15 hours back.

what is happening?
Is it an outage or some other technical problem?

what should i do here? will resubmitting work or do i have to wait till the judge status changes?

To ADMINS, if they will read it before tomorrow. Don't forget that your are planning a contest tomorrow, and you should at least notify everyone if you will not be able to host it or it will be delayed.
