The new system is so borring. :(
It takes too long time for loading. :(
It is also make a boring system that submit a code of a problem.
:x
It is very difficult problems for us, whose are using low spped, time limit internet.

>> I suggest that make this site as lite as possible like old system.
>> Make a subbmition console page to submit code directly using id and password.

It takes too long time for loading.
After I used Firefox, the loading time is speed up like old system.
But the inconvenience of new judge is I cannot submit code in one page.

I think the new judge is very good but something is better to improve.

The ranking has to be separated because two judges have different speed,so it's unfair.

I hope I can see the whole volume at a time, and it is more convenience.

About "My Statistics", it's better to have a list of solved problems like
http://acm.uva.es/problemset/usersnew.p ... 333&mode=1.

At last, the new judge is very good, thank you for your efforts!!

You can use your eye to examine .

When I got CE , the problem is always that I forgot including something.

You can use the same flags as the judge in your compiler option to check for CE.

I've got about 3Mbits ADSL but it takes minutes!!! to load the first page of a volume, another minute to load the other page, what I want ( there are 30 problems on a page ). So boring.

And why there is no email response?! For most of the people's it's much better to store the source codes on email webservers than to store say on hard drives.

Probably you and the developer are the only man who think this.

As I can see UVa Online Judge Author's Ranklist is also gone ( not working ). Now almost nothing is working on the site.

2 Robert,

Well, I also think that the new system is pretty cool. The judging response is a lot faster, I did not experience any problems with loading pages, the overall look is pretty and that's the best part - java 1.6 support.

The new system is good and there are ways of making it awesome.

I also think that new site is much better than older.
I believe that developers are working under the site, and in some days (weeks, months? :) ) all problems and bugs will be fixed.

I see some colour circles on the stats, that's value is zero. It would be much better to include:

1. resend the code by email. I don't know how many problems you've solved, but I've solved so far more than 600 and submitted more than 3000 codes and believe or not that it would be hard to manage 3000 codes by myself on a harddisk or CD.

2. rejudge all problems. Now the stats is crazy, because of the different speed's of judges. One example from problem 197:

Code: Select all

96	557.795	1272 Feldmeier Thomas	Java	2002-11-05 15:39:07	1217705
3. a working authors ranklist

I never said it's perfect. There are things to work on.
Your points 2 and 3 are valid. The first one is debatable. Managing your code is your own problem, and I am very skeptical that using e-mail for that provides any advantage whatsoever.

Well, I also used the "resending code by email" feature to keep my codes, and I find it useful.
