Please give C# as the programming language.

Post by Astalavista »

Hii. I am very interested in solving UVA problems. But my limitation is that I can only code in C#. Please provide C# as one of the allowed programming language.

I know you need to configure the C# compiler but it is not impossible.

I know C# and Java are similar and you will tell me to use Java. I do not want to learn another programming language.

Hope you will help a lot of C# programmers who are willing to join you.

Please look into the matter.

Thanks

Astalavista.

I think, that could be impossible ... I don't know compiler for C# which is not done by Microsoft. And Judge works on open source and Linux ...

Best regards
DM

PS> If you know such compiler, it would be great :)
If you really want to get Accepted, try to think about possible, and after that - about impossible ... and you'll get, what you want ....

I know of the Mono Project which was initiated to bridge the gap between .Net and Linux.

Not sure if they have achieved that.

Also, is it necessary that it should only run on Linux? The judges can have atleast one windows server and post the C# service there.

It would be great this happens.

Thanks.

Waiting for the Judge / Moderator Response.
