Hi, i have never been able to register into the acm-icpc problem set becouse the register form is worng, the auto generated image for security doesn`t work so it doesn`t admiss my account.

So i have never participated in any event.

This morning i have received this in my email after a main with a horrible written code, i don`t know what to do about it, don`t know if someone used my email to send this thing.... or it`s a mistake or.... should i change my password.

The image security code didn't use to work. Anyway, it looks like you've registered, since there's no other way in which we can have your email.

As there are a limited number of users in the old system (2^16), and as we've reached this limit, we're "recycling" user id's. Those users who have never submitted a solution in a few months are deleted and its account is given to a new user. The problem here is that we didn't overwrite your email with new user's. We'll look into it.

The other thing that might have happened is.....that some other user registered with your email. Can you tell me your id? your email? anything so that I can look for your account? Please, mail us that info to problemset at acm.uva.es.
