Not supporting FireFox 2.0.0.7

Post by nealzane »

Just immediately after upgrading to FireFox 2.0.0.7 as recommended also from the online judge front page, I cannot access the new online judge blocked by this message:
The page isn't redirecting properly

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

* This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept
cookies.
It seems that the new FireFox is doing some security check. Should the new online judge make some update to fix this problem? Is there any option we can change in the new FireFox to walk around this problem?

IE can work though ...

Sometimes clearing the cache works, but I don't know if that will fix it in this case.

Cleaning the cookies will do it in this case. You don't have the erase all your cookies, just the 'ecs.baylor.edu' ones.
