Important - Please read this message before you post here

A forum is useful for people if they can easily find what they are looking for. That is why there are some rules for posting here:

- For every problem in volume CXII there should be at most one thread. There could be exceptions to this rule when the number of postings in a thread gets too big, or when you want to communicate an aspect of the problem that was not covered by the previous threads. In those cases a continuation thread could be created. If you create a continuation thread for a problem, please shortly explain in your message why you did so.

- The title of the thread should contain both the problem number and the problem title, in that order, and nothing else. So no 'getting WA, please help', or 'Why TLE?', etc. in the thread title: explain your problem in the message, but keep the title clean.

- Messages should be on the topic and in English. Of course most users of this board are non-English native speakers and not everybody is equally fluent in English, so don't worry about making mistakes.

- Don't spoil the problem by posting accepted code or giving too explicit hints. If you posted your code because you had problems with it, remove it when the problem is solved. While editing your posting you could shortly explain what the problem was, possibly leaving some critical part of the code that contained the error, so others can learn from it.

- If you want to post your code for others to look at, make it easy for them to read it! So use code tags, add some comments and use English variable and function names. This increases the chance of someone helping you.

Since a few months, UVA has a small team of moderators that read (almost) all messages posted. This means that most easy and obvious programming problems can be solved by them in a very short time. But it also means that they have the ability to modify or delete postings that don't comply to the given rules. In most cases they will issue a warning and lock the thread, but too blatant breaking of the rules, like spam, leads to immediate deletion of the message.
