Problem

Post by KaDeG »

Hello,
yesterday I was submitting problems in acm.uva.es/problemset, at once i coudn't see the page! Page wasn't found as it was down, I told a friend but everything works fine for him, for me too, I could visit all the sites in net but not acm.uva.es, it couldn't be found!
I'm now connected through a proxy!!! With proxy i can see the site!
I don't know what to do, is it possible that I was banned or something!
I did many sumbits, is that allowed, isn't it?
PLEASE help me!
Thanks,
Kadeg

well, uva never bans anyone for making a lot of submissions.
Perhaps, at the time the site was down and now its back.

Moderators do.
In order to keep the forums useful, we like to keep the number of threads per problem low. If you look at the forum description you see
If there is a thread about your problem, please use it. If not, create one with its number in the subject.
If there are tens or hundreds of threads for one problem, nobody will be able to find anything.

It would be an enormous amount of work! If only 10% of all topics could be deleted without a second though, it would cost many days, and I think the actual number is closer to 50%.

The advantage of locking topics first, is that the original poster can see (s)he did something wrong, and also they can be deleted in one action after a couple of months.
