Great Judge bug.

Post by Igor Tuphanov »

During last contest (IIUC), there was bugs with judge: everything was very solw. In the end of contest I submitted a coluple of my problems once again, to be sure, everything was ok. Finally, my second submittion to prob. F was correct and I have time for it about 4:45 (0), but after that, my first submittion wasn't judged. It was also correct but sent earlier. So, hronologically first correct solution isn't not always appear in renktable.

What do you mean? The ranklist shows your earlier submission now.
You probably didn't wait long enough to check the ranklist, it was only finished several hours after the contest.
Btw., I really "lost" a submission for problem J I submitted about 1 hour after the start of the contest, but when I got no confirmation email that my program was received, I just resend the program again.

Sorry about that, but we were too optimistic while calculating judge's behaviour. We set too high time limits, and judge's machine got stalled. That caused some submissions to get lost, and most of them to be delayed. Too many users, in addition to the fact that old system is out of date.

I hope next contest will behave a better way. Thanks a lot for your patience!
