Online Contest on 15/10 (MIUP'2005)

Post by WhiteShadow »

Hi everyone!

I know that there will be an online contest on UVA, but still I invite you all to participate on the online version of MIUP'2005, the Portuguese National ACM Programming Contest.

URL to participate: http://miup02.cpct.ua.pt/~mooshak/
Contest: MIUP'2005
Number of Problems: 9
Date: 15/10/2005
Time: 09:00 to 14:00 UTC/GMT (on the page it's wrong, I'll tell them to correct it)
Languages available: C, C++, Java and Pascal

The automatic evaluation system used is Mooshak: http://www.dcc.fc.up.pt/mooshak/
This system has been used in all portuguese contests for some years and it has also been used in SWERC (Southwestern European Regional ACM Contest) since 2001. Probably some of you should have already used it ;-)

You will be on a public and free contest, but you will be able to compare yourself with the actual teams participating on the "official" contest.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Good programming to you all!

Would you tell me what the running time of author's solution of problem F (i.e. 10939 Ants, Aphids and a Ladybug) is?
If I remember correctly, it's time limit in the online contest is 6 seconds.

I think we the online contest organizers need to coordinate. Otherwise I found that last saturday there were 4 online contests together.

Oops.. I thought the one mentioned above is the same as the one in UVa last saturday. They are even in the same time frame and contain the same number of problems.
