Using UVa in computer science courses

Post by catweazle352 »

Hi,

being a computer science teacher I used many of your problems in my lessons. To this purpose, I chosed almost 100 problems, solved them and classified them (quite subjective, of course) into five "level of difficulty" groups. Moreover, I developed an offline-judge who automatically checks the solutions by comparing the MD5-SUM of my output of my AC-Solution of udebug-input.

Now I wonder how my job could be made something easier. For beginners I am looking for really simple problems like "Cost Cutting" or "Relational Operator" in order to make my students become familiar with the judge system and learning to do some simple problems.

Well, I do know uhunt and the dacu-System, but firstly this measure is kind of inexact in terms of difficulty, and secondly it shows the dacu-sorted problems for my account which is not adequate for my students.

Is there any other way to do a search in a somehow difficulty-oriented manner?

Kind Regards
