I was thinking about just going for my bachelors online in general studies. Are online colleges a good way to learn? I do still want a good education but without the hassle of 'going' to college. How do they work? Are they reliable? Is there a difference in how a business views a person based on if he/she went to a live college or online?

Apart from imparting knowledge, university life also offers a chance to acquire a lot of other skills. For example, you get to meet people from different walks of life and other countries all of which widens your views (among other pluses). Though online courses could give you the first component, they miss out on the second piece. Both are equally important - especially in a world that's growing flatter by the day.
