OJ stop responding and late reply
It seems that OJ some time stop responding and give a very late repy of submissions.
What is the problem?

Yes, it is noticable that the judge performance is decreasing in current days which is not expectable. Surely, an online judge should not response after more than 1 hour of submission. But the fact is I've experienced this thing several times in the last week or so. (In fact, currently I've a submission with responce pending for over half an hour now.) I think many of you will agree with me. Does anyone know what's exactly wrong & hence tell us ?
You should never take more than you give in the circle of life.
I have submitted my code through the PHP script many times..
and the judge does not receive my code sometimes.
What is happening to the OJ?

nah. I think that OJ did recieve your submissions, but they just take a long time before they appear.Ming Han wrote:I have submitted my code through the PHP script many times..

For me, once it took about 30 minutes before my submissions was listed on the judge status.
EDIT: it takes up to 12 hours now. bah

__Sorry, had to get that out. I just submit in the night and open in the morning. The tension is hampering my sleep OJ!!!! The judge needs some serious medication, people. I can't bear to watch the judge like this. What if he dies?!?

It seems that it may be due to the system upgrade.
See http://acm.uva.es/NOTE: The system upgrade is almost finished. Everything should work now. Thank you.

Ming, that message has been displayed for a long time. Or maybe I'm wrong and it was displayed before, removed and put back recently. Anyway, when I saw that message before, the judge was still fast. Well, the good news is the ojs fighting fit again. Thanks administrator guys. WORD. No, DWORD!
