I'm confused about the source of the problems. Are the volume C problems the only non-acm (regional or finals) past problems?

Volumes 1-8 are from old ACM and assorted other contests, for the most part taken from the web and other archives.

Volumes Cxxxx are from uva on-line contests. The on-line contests use a collection of old and new problems, and also include contests composed by other organizations (e.g. the Waterloo contests). In general, the problems are used for an on-line contest, and appear a week or two later in the archive.
