disappeared topic

Post by negue »

My problem is that I created a topic (asking help for a problem in volume CVI) and it has disappeared. In fact following the link in my emails (received when a new post is put) I can view it. But after I log in I can't find it back.
And I don't understand why this happened.

Sorry if it is not here where I should place this message. Probably I should contact some administrator but I don't know how.

I noticed that. It disappeared immediately after I posted a reply. I guess I was censored, so I posted another reply. The topic has now come back but not my reply.

In a nutshell, I said you should be using 2S instead of S in all your calculations, because that is the period of repetition of the board. The judge's solution uses 2,000,000 becase that is trivially an upper bound on the number of distinct black squares, modulo 2S. (At least it was until the program statement was changed to say S <= 1000 from S < 1000).
