How Online Judge Works ?

Post by asarefin »

Hello Every one! :D

First of all I want to give a big thanks to all people who are spending a lots of time for making this forum LIVE! Another thanks go to all moderators also.

Now, my question comes- How this Online Judge is working? I think though this is not important to many problem solver. But there may remain many people who want to know more about the working principles of Valladolid's Online Judge. Specially, in my University - Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), I have seen several students are trying to make a judge system :-) and spending a lot of time for that !

There remains some documentation on Online judging systems. But I don't know the links. If anybody knows, please inform me. I think fpnc can help on this thread. People may gather a deep knowledge from the later post.

Regards

Thanks! For your post! ( It can be done without a pool I think ;) )

Yes! I am here, has taken this as my project to make an online contest system for CUET. But I have found it really difficult :(

But, as there are crackers out there, I also believe that it shouldn't be open to all :) but at least the architechture can be opened :)

NetJudge for Linux..........is very tough to design..............as Oliv suggested me to use LAMP.............so I am now walking through that way..............and the good thing is there are very helpful guys out there - I can't forget Lego, I am happy that he is really thinking with me to make it all up :)

Thanks to you all who are helping me in this site :)

Moni.
