Why does ANSI C recognize atoi() but not itoa()?

I think it's a Borland C extension.

You can always use sscanf or sprintf in either case..

I find do not understand, I use GCC 2.95.3, and obtain to compile, but he gives error there. Somebody could say me what it is happening?
