Number of submissions doubled ?!?!

Post by xenon »

When checking the rankings, I noticed that the number of submissions doubled (as did the ACs, TLEs, PEs, etc.). Is this due to the recent breakdown of the judge system?

yah, could be because of the breakdown. But the list of the problems is the same.

Hi!

There was something very interesting yesterday...

In the afternoon judges had rejudged (It looked like rejudging) every submission thay got since 1998 or something like that....

The solved problem numbers had dissappeared but the statictic were not coorected.

So everyone had everything doubled...

Yes that's a small mistake...

I hope that they will correct it soon..

Because I have no idea how I can solve 1400 tasks :D

BTW.
We should be happy, because judge didn't send e-mails with answers and program codes

I don't think it was rejudging, it seemed more like feeding messages (ac, wa, tl and like that) to the judge system, to update stats.... but maybe they forgot to clear them first?

Maybe this was small mistake ....
But effects are very serious

But I think you are right ( the rejudging would take a lot more time and the did it in 2-3 houors or maybe more)

I wonder what was the reason ...

just looks like their web database was loaded with the full set of judge data instead of the data since the breakdown and had 2* as many rows which they then deleted and reloaded their database from scratch ?
