Portuguese National Contest - Online on 20/10/2007

Post by WShadow »

Hi everyone.

I was not able to recover my old UVA account (WhiteShadow), so I will write in this new one.

I know that there will be an online contest on UVA, but still I invite you all to participate on the online version of MIUP'2007, the Portuguese National ACM Programming Contest.

URL to participate: http://acm.ist.utl.pt/~miup07/ (will be available on contest day)
Contest: MIUP'2006
Number of Problems: 9
Date: 20/10/2007
Time: 10:00 to 15:00 local time (currently GMT+1)
Languages available: C, C++, Java (they may consider Pascal if someone asks to use it)

The automatic evaluation system used is Mooshak: http://www.dcc.fc.up.pt/mooshak/
This system has been used in all portuguese contests for some years and it has also been used in SWERC (Southwestern European Regional ACM Contest) since 2001. Probably some of you should have already used it

You will be on a public and free contest, but you will be able to compare yourself with the actual teams participating on the "official" contest.

Feel free to ask any questions.

Good programming to you all!

PS - If you want to see how Mooshak works and practice with some problems used on my University (Porto) local contests, feel free to use our training server:

University of Porto Training Server
Url: http://www.dcc.fc.up.pt/~cpup-treino/
Contests currently on system:
- Some "easy" problem (from past years)
- 2nd 2007 Contest (5 new problems)
- 3rd 2007 Contest (7 new problems)
