it means that your program didn't stop printing after a certain time. The cases where to break is not checked by your program. Or, memory may be overlapped so that the tracking variables have lost it's original value.

I am not sure, but 1) don't use exit(0), no need 2) The problem is not in your submission, it is a runtime error generated by your program. If this happens, your submission and reading data are right. You can search usaco instruction set for the compiler they use to find error#139(?). It may help you.

I didn't understand the algorithm or discussions. Excess code can help here. how? Please describe the algorithm you used to solve the problem. :oops:

Another interesting is that (as most of the people in our country are windows user), for C program, if I skip the #includes for printf or scanf like functions, it does not show compile error with VC++ and TC++, but if I use freopen() and stdout stdin namespaces it requires the includes. For the firs...

A similar phenomenon that I found, if you use in C++,

for(int i=0;i<8;i++) bla bla
it shows some compiler msg (eror)
but if you use
int i=0;
for(i=0;i<8;i++) bla bla.
it is ok. :lol:

Nice Problem of Fibonacci

The difference increases at a fibonacci number rate (I may forget). But, Definitely a very good problem from sajjad bhai.

Good statements from kuegel and the probsetter. So, one hint is that, it canbe easily implemented by a binary search.

So, now the problem is easy. I request admin to put a notification that the time limit has been changed.

I am sorry if I misunderstood. Thanks for help and reply. Keep posting. :lol:

You are not the one who forget to put '.', many times I forget such characters. That is why now, I just copy the output from the sample output of the problem and then replace if necessary.
Good luck:-)

And also, what's about the time limit? TIME LIMIT IN THE PROB. STS is 40 seconds. But TLE in 10 sec?

What I got after accepted is that, In pure C you can use binary search, mapping. By using STL and MAP you can get accepted in a very short time.
