Re: Lost password - DOES NOT work

even i lost my forum password actually i forgot an underscore in my updated gmail id and now everything is locked. The activation mail and everything else got spoilt.
I tried mailing them couple of times but didn't get any response. Looks like they are overloaded.

Re: 11003 - Boxes

hi , initially i thought this problem was the same as weights and measures (turtles). I just sorted by serial number ,ie in the reverse order of input. Now all 1 to i-1 boxes can be placed on top of box i. so i construct the dp f(i,j) = min(f(i-1,j),f(i-1,j-1) + w(i)) where f(i,j) is the minimum wei...

Re: 10507 - Waking up brain

i solved this problem using simulated vertices and then if any group(graph) non simulated vertex is connected to group(graph) of simulated vertices then increment current years. After sometime (years < 26) either all vertices are simulated or they are not , this is because the longest path in the gr...

Re: 11476 - Factorizing Large Integers

if you are using the function x^2 + 1 and only generating primes until 2^16 and using trial divison to factor numbers like 129669709111( 323591 * 400721) will fail. if x^2 + 1 is the function you will get TLE for input 335223032701393 18308593#18309601=335223032701393 n is 1145285232319 C is 3 11452...
