You can express any vector as linear combination of any P vectors in P-dimensial space, if these P vectors are: 1. vectors representing axis of space (probably unit vectors like [1,0,0,0]) 2. it's possible to represent any axis of space (like above) as linear combination of these P vectors 3. these ...

Use formatting string when you output the number i.e. printf("%.*lf",number_of_digits_after_dot,number); this line prints "number" with "number_of_digits_after_dot" numbers afer decimal dot. You must know how many numbers after decimal point you want to output :) Best regards DM PS. Floating point e...

Ye, I have question ;)

Why output should be:

Code: Select all

Set #1
 0: 3
 1: 2
 2: 1
 3:
 4:
IMBALANCE = 5.20000
and not

Code: Select all

Set #1
 0: 1
 1: 2
 2: 3
 3:
 4:
IMBALANCE = 5.20000
or any other ordering with the same imbalance ?

Are you sure that you use correct suffix for your ID?

I.e. if you use 12345AB, you write it in correct field of submit-o-matic ?

Unfortunatly I know MS-DOS from 3.30 version til 7.0 included in windows ;)

I know that any place for * is allowed by prolem statement :) but I think, that telling about MS-DOS in description is confused ;) and it's easy to make mistake :)

Nice IO, but if I correct remeber, MS-DOS cannot evaluate comands like: rename a*a b*b (asteriks in the middle of file is not allowed). Asteriks means (in MS-DOS) all characters from this point to the dot or end of file name (if dot in name doesn't exist). So why we should think about this problem ?...

In C++ you must include proper header file, which defines used function. In my compiler getline() function wasn't defined, so I think that: 1. you use different set of headers 2. you don't set all options of compiler (I heard about something like gcc -wall -strict -ansi file.c to compile - check opt...

to the first code: from (MSVC++) x.cpp(20) : error C2065: 'getline' : undeclared identifier to the second code: in C comments like // are forbidden So both codes are wrong :) BTW. Use compiler option -ansi or something like that to check "is this ANSI C/C++ code" . Only such code will be compiled by...

Could anyone who got accepted post some critical IO ? I try to find my mist...
