To peterwen1990 for loop upto n. It is a slow process. You can check upto sqrt(n). for(i=2;i<=n;i++) { for(j=2;j<=sqrt(i);j++) if(i%j==0 && j!=i) { break; } else if(i%j==0 && j==i) { prime[num]=i; num++; } } May be this is the reason. Precalcution for prime number with seive method will be faster.
