10802 - Lex Smallest Drive

sorry for posting here but i couldn't think of a 2nd option... let us consider a graph where there is a drive such as "5 0 1 5 4" now when we are to print the lexicographically smallest drive from 5 to 4 what do we output? if i'm not wrong "5 0 1 5 0 1 5 4" is lexographically smaller than "5 0 1 5 4...

I'm not writing to criticize or to blame anyone but if the contest didn't have those easy problems the outcome would have been different for sure. not everyone is lucky to be a part of a good team and with so many problems to solve its almost impossible to uplift a team by solving 5+ problems alone....

My solution gets AC in another site (can't remember exactly which one, most probably at timus or zju) but here I get WA!!!

Can someone give me some test cases? I feel confused. :roll:

Thanks in advance.

I and J are nice problems. It felt really good to get them Accepted. :)

I don't have any theoretical knowledge about the tower of hanoi problem (since I'm not a CS student) so may be I'll consult a book before I try G. :o

I personally think the problemset of NCPC was pretty unfair because the 1st 6 problems were far more easier than the next 4 problems. You don't need to be a much good programmer to solve the 1st 6 problems and you need to be a very good programmer to solve the final 4 problems. First of all the prob...

Thanks Adrian for your reply. :) I was having trouble with my net so couldn't reply earlier. Input: 1 7 AA CA CA CA BA BA CCB My AC program's Output: A=5 B=0 C=1 This certainly doesn't go as per the constraint specified in the problem description which I've been talking about earlier. You might say ...

O(n) solution =>> Weak Judge Data :D

O(n log n ) is the best I can think of at this moment, someone with a better solution needs to try the next test case posted by Adrian. Getting AC means nothing cause at present judge data is simply too weak. :oops:

10782 - Send More Money

I got several WA in this problem during contest though it was a very simple problem & I was pretty confident about my solution but now that I've got AC I feel that may be the problem description is not correct which led me to WA during contest despite of the fact that my solution was correct. :( Pro...

hi ppl, hmm... well i don't think you need to know all those mathematical things to solve it... it took me 20 mins to write a simple simulator that gave me the results from n=1 to 6 and from there it took me another 10 mins to code my solution using those values and simple nCm calculations that ever...
