If that wasn't helpful, email me (click the little thingy on the bottom) with the complete code or go to my website to find a full program, which I suggest you not to do but may be helpful.

Okay, first of all, a trap takes a unit of time. That is, at one time the program may enter into a position but until the next unit of time the program does not realize it is trapped. That is why the trap and then annihilate can happen. Just make sure annihilate and destroy don't both happen.

It worked!!! Finally...

Oh, haha, it worked!!!!! Well, I still don't get the problem with the original program, but I made some completely new code today, using something I had seen online as a start, and it took like 110 seconds but the important thing is that it worked. Thanks, Ivan, for helping me! :D

Well, this is a straightforward problem, I don't think there's too much room for error, but did you do the scent thing so that after one robot is lost, no other robot will ever go off at that point? Just helping... post your code and maybe I can help. It shouldn't be too long or something's wrong. (...

Did all that, sorted it, and I still got wrong answer. I want to know if my program even does the given test case correctly. This is my sorted output for the two sample cases in the problem: aababbadceffgdcgdceefedfggc aababbadcffegfcddcfeeggedgc aababbadcggeffcddcgeegfedfc aababbaddeegcefddfcegcggc...

If the answer needs to be sorted, isn't that a lot of time wasted? Are you sure it doesn't work without sort? And just for checking, is it correct that you must get 480 solutions for every position of a? Because if it is, then I know that just implementing a sort will do the trick. Anybody know of a...

In fact, I am going to provide full explanations to all of them, as well as some of the other problems that I have gotten help on (in which case it'll just be an explanation, I won't post full code). It's just that it is a good thing for some people to see what everything looks like in code.

I tried something like that, didn't work, did THIS and still doesn't work, but I swear it works with everything I've tried: // @BEGIN_OF_SOURCE_CODE /* @JUDGE_ID: 17243NT 191 C++ "Algebra" */ // Send to judge@uva.es #include <iostream.h> #include <fstream.h> #ifdef ONLINE_JUDGE #define ins cin #defi...

Anybody can look at this please and tell me which ones are wrong? I'm sure that it's some wierd values that throw it off... I got W.A., that's why... like Jorge Pinto before me, all the test cases I devised work... 1: 0 0 2: 1 1 3: 1 2 4: 0 0 5: 0 0 6: 3 3 7: 4 3 8: 3 5 9: 0 0 10: 5 5 11: 9 2 12: 0 ...

Sorry I post so much on here, but really I'm stuck on this one... see, I don't get the thing about assessed after each card, when a pair play is supposed to be indivisible: I did make a program where a pair was played such that it was reassessed for each time, but that came out wrong. Anyone help? B...
