Re: 13010 - Galactic taxes

Am I the only one, who can't understand the problem statement?

Will anyone show me how output of second input is 419431.27273?

I'm not getting it.
the minimum possible sum of the taxes
and
maximum total tax
are confusing me. What should I take? Minimum or Maximum? Thanks in advance.

Re: 10433 - Automorphic Numbers

I made this code AC using Java BigInteger class. I used pow() for getting square. Also used substring method. :)

Re: 11902 - Dominator

Getting TLE for this problem. :(

Code: Select all

Instead of using System.out.println() for each character I made a stringbuilder which holds full output of a case,
then printed that stringbuilder with only one System.out.println(). That is how I got the magical word "Accepted"!!!

@shiam, if I don't get wrong, it happened, because, you mixed cout with scanf(). If time limit is strict, usually mixing cout and scanf() gives TLE.

Re: 11888 - Abnormal 89's

A little bit confused !!! Though I've got AC, but I'm not sure, if my solution should get this verdict. :( I have tried with each index so that by this index, I can make two palindrome from 0 to index and index+1 to len-1 . If I can make two palindrome, then given input is alindrome, otherwise not. ...
