I have solved this problem using my binary search function in 0.191s.Can some one tell me how to modify the built in bsearch function to get the index of the array(sample code) of the key or near the key.

WA pls help

Hi,
I also use simple bruteforce. trying to put the offices for all possible combinations .But i m keep getting wrong answer. Some one can help me giving some AC Sample I/O or some hints. Thanx in advance.

Algorithm for differentiation

I want an algorithm to perform the Differentiation of any equation (not numerically) i.e if the input is y=x^2 then the desired output should be dy/dx=2*x .
Can some one provide me with such an algorithm or give any references related to that.
